Boom! for 4/22: Keepin’ It Real

Kyle Garret
April 22, 2015
This Week in BOOM!

A small week for Boom, but still some quality stuff to check out.

Adventure Time #36 (Jay Shaw 2nd Printing Variant Cover), $3.99
Adventure Time #39 (Cover A George Bletsis), $3.99
Adventure Time #39 (Cover B Anna Strain), $3.99
Adventure Time #39 (Cover C Wesley Craig), AR

The latest issue of Adventure Time plus a bonus second printing of #36!

Clive Barker’s Nightbreed #12 (Cover A Christopher Mitten), $3.99

The final issue!

Curb Stomp #3 (Of 4)(Cover A Devaki Neogi), $3.99

More Warriors-style grittiness (you know you were thinking it).

RealistDawn Of The Planet Of The Apes #6 (Of 6)(Cover A Christopher Mitten), $3.99
Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes #6 (Of 6)(Cover B Hazard Graffiti), AR

This is a big week for finales.

Evil Empire Volume 1 TP, $14.99

The first four issues collected in this trade are wonderful.  I can’t recommend this collection highly enough.

Giant Days #1 (Lissa Treiman 2nd Printing Variant Cover), $3.99

A much deserved second printing for an excellent new series.

Realist HC, $24.99

Go ahead and Google The Realist and check out Asaf Hanuka’s wonderful web comic.  While the stories aren’t always a home run, Hanuka’s art is fantastic.

Suicide Risk #24 (Cover A Stephanie Hans), $3.99

Not the finale issue, but the penultimate one.  Watch, I’m going to finally start reading this book right after it ends and I’m going to fall in love with it.
