Boom! continues to have a great combination of original work, comics based off of TV shows, and comics based off of 80’s cult classics. I couldn’t think of a better possible mix!

Adventure Time Marceline Gone Adrift #6 (Of 6)(Cover B Chrystin Garland), $3.99
Adventure Time Marceline Gone Adrift #6 (Of 6)(Cover C Emily Warren), AR

Marceline and Princess Bubblegum. <3 In this final issue of Marceline Gone Adrift Cinnamon Bun and Suspencer must be stopped so that all can be well in Ooo.

Adventure Time The Flip Side Volume 1 TP, $19.99

You can never have enough Adventure Time! This trade collects the complete miniseries in which Finn goes questing for quests.

Arcadia #1 (Matt Taylor 2nd Printing Variant Cover), $3.99

Ahhh, Arcadia!! If you missed my previous ravings about this series it goes a little something like this – I love Arcadia!!! Everyone should read this series! Read it, read it, read it!!

Bill And Ted’s Most Triumphant Return #4 (Of 6)(Cover A Felipe Smith), $3.99
Bill And Ted’s Most Triumphant Return #4 (Of 6)(Cover B Ramon Villalobos), AR

Radical, radical, radical. Wait no, it’s the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who I’m positive said that particular combination of radicals, but it seems like something I could see Bill and Ted saying too. In fact, I feel like Bill and Ted would get along well with the TMNT crew. This series is a fun homage to a cinematic cult classic with all the charm and non-bogusness of the original. And the short stories at the end are consistently a TON of fun!

Clarence #1 (Of 4)(Cover A JJ Harrison), $3.99
Clarence #1 (Of 4)(Cover B Scott Maynard), $3.99
Clarence #1 (Of 4)(Cover C Liz Prince), $3.99
Clarence #1 (Of 4)(Cover D Roger Langridge), AR
Clarence #1 (Of 4)(Cover E Kassandra Heller), AR

Ahahaha, this comic is so cute. Like so so cute. Clarence dresses up as a worm and wriggles around and his friend’s head is the shape of a perfect square.

Hit 1957 #3 (Of 4)(Cover A Vanesa Del Rey), AR

Crime, noir, and Los Angeles. The series begins to wrap up in this second to last issue.

lantern city

Lantern City #2 (Of 12)(Cover A Benjamin Carre), $3.99

I really enjoyed the first issue of this series! I haven’t read the second yet, but I’m hoping for more awesome steampunk dystopian revolution.

Mouse Guard Legends Of Guard Volume 3 #4 (Of 4)(Cover A David Peterson), $3.99
Closing time is near at the pub as we’ve reached the last issue of Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard. Three final stories will be told and June will decide whose tab to clear.

Palmiotti And Brady’s The Big Con Job #4 (Of 4)(Cover A Amanda Conner), $3.99

I read the first two issues of this series and was super intrigued! But then I never got around to reading the next two, which maybe says something? I always love the idea of an industry making content about its own industry and since the comic industry and the entertainment industry have such eccentricities to them, I think that doing a story about a comic convention is pretty smart.

Regular Show #24 (Cover A Ze Burnay), $3.99
Regular Show #24 (Cover B Hyojin Bae), $3.99

I haven’t read any Regular Show issues and I’ve only seen one episode of the show, but the description on the Boom website for this issue starts with, “The Dinosaur Aliens have begun their invasion of Earth!” So that seems pretty promising.

Robocop #12 (Cover A Todd Slater), $3.99

Another final issue! There are lots of things wrapping up at Boom! lately. But then again, lots of new things are starting!
