FX in April 2018 has green lit the production of Y: The Last Man with Melinda Matsoukas directing. Melinda is an American director of commercials, TV shows and music videos.
Unfortunately, one year later in April 2019 this show has been cancelled due to creative difference.
However in June 2019, they find a new showrunner and the show will continue.
Y: The Last Man was written by Brian K. Vaughan published by Vertigo in September 2002. The comic book ran for 60 issues ending in 2008. This comic book is about Yorick Brown, the main character, who is the only male who survived in post-apocalypse.
They cast Barry Keoghan as Yorick Brown. Barry is up and coming actor, famous for his role in Dunkirk (2017).  In February 2020, Barry exited from the role and they gave the role to Ben Schnetzner.
Jodie Foster was in talks to play Yorick’s mom, Senator Jennifer Brown. Mrs. Brown has ordered an agent to take Yorick to see a geneticist to find a way to save humans. They traveled all over the world. Along the way, there were groups who want to kill Yorick and groups who want to capture Yorick for their own personal gains.

It has been 2 years since the show was green lit, let’s find out how this book is doing. There were 2 sales of Y: The Last Man  #1 CGC 9.8 on March 31, 2020. One sold for $670.00 plus shipping and the other one sold for $645.00 plus shipping.
