In other words, if you were so inclined, it would be pretty easy for you to jump on board without feeling completely lost.I point this out because you should do exactly that.

Mission Accomplished.
Here’s a funny thing: every third week, I write a column for this great web site on comics that are coming out that week that I think are particularly noteworthy.
I’ve tried to balance my huge interest and curiosity about the film with not wanting to spoil what promises to be the biggest film in comic book history. It’s getting more difficult...
As much as I try to use this column to shift the focus off of cape books and onto some of the more unusual and esoteric things that can be achieved within the medium of comics, I tend to write a lot about Big Two superhero books anyway.
You know, I could come up with some trite little intro here about how all of these books are connected in some way.
That was a short break wasn’t it? After last week’s jam column we are back on schedule and it’s my turn at the wheel of the good ship What Looks Good.
Greetings and Salutations one and all! Welcome to the latest installment of what is, if not the longest running column in the history of the world, should be: What Looks Good! The place where nearly every week in and out you can stop by and see what's looking good in the world of comics (and occasionally the world of music, movies, and television, too!).
This is an absolutely stellar week for independent comic books, but that’s something that can be said a lot these days.
"And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes were united against a common threat! On that day The Avengers were born — to fight foes no single hero could withstand!" So the big news this past week was the debut of the new Marvel Studios’ The Avengers trailer.
