Comics You Can Dance To is Comics Bulletin's official podcast!
Hosted by Nathaniel MacDonald and Danny Djeljosevic and supported by various jokers and guests, Comics You Can Dance To is devoted to discussing cool comics, pop culture nonsense and hopefully introducing you to some awesome music along the way.
This week our guest is Corey Lewis, creator of hyper-energetic shonen comics like Sharknife, PENG!, UDON's Rival Schools, Layered Jacket and all sorts of other wonderful things. You'll quickly be able to tell that he's got a ton of ideas that he's tremendously excited about, and that his excitement is incredibly infectious because every idea he brings up makes us laugh out loud with delight.
Sharknife ZZ, his latest volume of the Oni Press manga-style sentai superhero comic is completely bonkers and available on ComiXology, and he had just funded a Kickstarter for an anthology book of his work called Sun Bakery, so we talk about that for a bit as well as video games and the value of Die Hard 2: Die Harder.
We had a LOT of fun talking to Corey, and I think you will have fun listening to us talk to him.

Next Time
We're talking to the creative team of Amelia Cole and the Unknown World, which may or may not include D.J. Kirkbride, Adam P. Knave and Nick Brokenshire. That's a lot of dudes.
Show Notes
- This episode was recorded in mid-February — hence the references to Emerald City Comic Con coming up and Corey's Kickstart not quite being over yet.
- Here's the poem by our friend Theron that Corey illustrated.
- Since we talked about it, here's that weird Mortal Kombat-styled Wrestlemania arcade game
- In discussing Michel Fiffe's COPRA, Danny said "copra" is the Greek and/or Latin term for "rock." He was MAD WRONG — it's the dried meat of a coconut. OOPS.
- Here's Dylan Todd on the amazing color work of Jordie Bellaire.
- Nate mentions a sketch Corey made for him out of scented markers, and this is what it looks like
