During the 1980s an ex-Delta Force operative battles a KGB-backed hoard of drug fiends hell-bent on destroying America. Iron Cobra is an ex-Special Forces operative who’s been given a license to kill and tasked to win the war on drugs. This Kickstarter campaign is for issue #1 of Codename: Iron Cobra vs. the PCP Army, a 5-issue mini-series. All of the issues will be 22 full color pages of intense ‘80s action, violence, and drugs.
Creator Ryan Smith tells us that Iron Cobra has been a labor of love for him and that he has done intense research and collecting (some would say hoarding) of all and anything pertaining to the 1980s be it (but not limited to) movies, music, comics, logo design, fashion, books, television shows, political and social events, catalogs, and magazines. The entire mini-series is written and he is currently working on the art for the first issue. With your help he can make this project possible!
Special thanks to Felina-Cat for designing the font.
Smith tells us that as with any project there are potential unforeseen circumstances for example a delay from the printer. If anything like this should occur he will notify all backers immediately. “I believe in transparency and will give updates regarding the project in a consistent and timely manner. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this project you can contact me via facebook or e-mail me or on twitter or on Kickstarter. Thank you so much for your support!”
This project will be funded on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
