Cover

End of Days is intended to be a five-part comic book series telling the story of one Colonel Alex Hadfield and his trusty Android assistant Rob. This Kickstarter project  from Atomic Ink Comix is for the first issue of the series. It is the year 2025, and it all begins in space, with astronaut Alex Hadfield who is about to commence a five-year mission to test out a new suspended animation cryosleep unit that will be used for deep space travel. Leaving behind his wife, and the two children he adores, he has taken this last mission as a way to retire early and spend more time with his family.

However, two weeks into the mission, the Earth erupts in nuclear warfare, followed by chemical and experimental weapon attacks. Five years later…Alex awakens to discover that everything he has ever known or loved is gone. Heading back to earth with Rob, his trusty android assistant, Alex will find a planet with a new world order, where mutants run wild, and gangs of humans battle for whatever resources that Earth has left. It is through this deadly maze, and with the help of some new friends, that Colonel Hadfield will search for his family… and nothing better get in his way.

This series is brought to you by John Medeiros (Creator/Writer), Barry McClain (Penciler), Peter Palmiotti  (Inker), and J. Primus Dickerson (Colorist). This group of very talented creators really wants to bring you this entertaining book, however, as we all know by now, making independent comics is actually quite expensive. Fan support and financial backing will allow them to not only finish this title, but also to get a good jump on completing the entire series. Without backers, many indie comics simply wouldn’t get made.  Fans and backers can contact the creators on their website, and get a response quickly and professionally.

This project will be funded on Tuesday, March 31 2015.
