One of the best things about this site is to see former contributors break into the industry, whether in a journalistic or creative capacity. The latter is the case for former contributor Randolph Gentile. Over the last seven years, Randolph has been working on an original graphic novel, Leave Something Witchy, which explores Spahn Ranch and the Manson Family. To get it across the finish line, Randolph has launched a Kickstarter for his graphic novel. Check out the video and an excerpt from the project below:
That was Bobby Beausoleil’s response to my request to talk about his time at Spahn Ranch and his participation in the Gary Hinman murder. My art was being criticized by a man that plunged a knife into an innocent music teacher and then smothered him with a pillow to make sure the job was done.
The life of an artist isn’t for the thin skinned.
Nevertheless, I moved forward with creating my graphic novel LEAVE SOMETHING WITCHY, the story of the Manson Murders.
