Kickstarter Spotlight: Ultimate Night of the Living Dead

Jason Sacks
July 2, 2015
Kickstarter Spotlight, News

16 years ago, Bill Jemas played a lead role on the team that transformed Marvel from an insolvent comic publisher and toy manufacturer into a world-class entertainment company.  Take-Two Interactive (T2) is a world-class video game publisher. Two years ago, T2 hired Bill to help start a new comic book publisher.

Now the 2T team is a dozen strong! They have recruited scores of writers and artists, editors and designers.

On September 16, 2015, you can buy at comic shops:

Any of 2T’s print issue #1’s for $2.50

A Super Pack of all 10 1st issues for $20

But right now, through Kickstarter, you can order a Super Pack for only $10.

The first 10 stories start in the world established by the 1968 cult classic Night of the Living Dead.

Mostly, the creators are telling new stories starring new characters. But if you love the classic film, you won’t be disappointed; you can follow your favorite characters from the film, from their first appearances through their dying breaths, to their first baby zombie steps…

There are three star writers doing two books each: Jeff McComsey (best known for his Zombie collections Fubar and Mother Russia) is on Z-Men and Rise. Brian Finkelstein and Peter Aguero (both Moth Radio Hour Grand Slam champions) are also doing two each. Brian on Slab and Medic, Peter on Home and Honor.

The Kickstarter can be found here and has less than 3 days left!

The team at Double Take believe comics should be cheap, help them out and make their Kickstarter campaign a success!
