THE ART OF ZEN™ ON EXHIBIT AT LOS ANGELES CITY ARTS CENTER

Month-long Exhibition Begins This Saturday with Book Signing by Stern and Cote

Original Zen Intergalactic Ninja comic-book artwork, as well as other objects such as sculpted models, action figures and posters, will be on exhibit in the William Grant Still Arts Center gallery in Los Angeles beginning this Saturday.

Among the artists whose Zen artwork will be on display are Ross Andru and Mike Esposito, Mike Mignola, Sam Kieth, Bill Maus, Thad Rhodes III, Jim Fletcher and Dan Cote.

“This is another milestone that Zen has achieved in his seventeen-year history,” said Cote, who co-created Zen in 1987 with writer Steve Stern.

Stern and Cote will appear at the gallery to sign copies of their book, Alien Hero, from noon to five pm this Saturday, August 7. A facility of the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, the William Grant Still Arts Center is located at 2520 South West View Street in Los Angeles.

It was recently announced that a new series, Zen: Bounty Hunter, will be released by SSS Comics later this year.
