NYCC: Image's Peter Panzerfaust Takes Flight with BBC Worldwide

A comics news article

by Natalie Parker

It's been announced by BBC Worldwide and their partners Quality Transmedia that Panzerfaust, a multi-platform project based on the best-selling Image Comics series Peter Panzerfaust is in production. Initially the companies aim to digitally release a motion comic based on the title, while concurrently working to develop Panzerfaust as a live-action scripted series.

Panzerfaust, by Kurtis J. Weibe and Tyler Jenkins, is a contemporary take on the classic story of Peter Pan, where Peter is an American freedom-fighter in Nazi-occupied Europe at the outset of World War II.  He partners with the Lost Boys, a ragtag group of orphans, to combat the Nazi threat, led by SS Captain Haken who is of course… Captain Hook.

While there's no release date as yet, we'll keep you up to date on when we can expect to see Panzerfaust on the screen.
