ANNOUNCEMENT: DC Comics and Telltale Games Announce "THE WOLF AMONG US"A game news article

A New Telltale Series Based on the DC/Vertigo Series, FABLES
Telltale Games has been hard at work on a brand new adventure game that takes place in the world of Bill Wllingham's praised Vertigo/DC title, FABLES, for some time now. This week, we finally know something other than the game's existence.
The Wolf Among Us will take place prior to the events of the first issue of FABLES. You take on the role of Bigby Wolf, formerly known as The Big Bad Wolf. Exiled from the fairy tale land from whence he came, Bigby is hired by the bureaucratic Snow White as sheriff of a hidden community within New York City to keep order among the mythical creatures and characters from our favorite childhood stories who are trying to remain undetected in our dull, little world.
"Developing The Wolf Among Us based on the FABLES universe has allowed our studio to build upon all of the hallmarks of what makes our episodic series so engaging for players," said Dan Connors, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games. "Through an evolution of our approach to choice and consequence, we can further explore the complexity of each and every iconic character in a universe rich with untold history from the darkest sides of the storybooks."
After the massive hit that was last year's The Walking Dead (which, by the way, you should all play if you haven't yet), I cannot wait to see a different game in a beloved comic world from Telltale Games. Unfortunately, though, we will all have to.
The Wolf Among Us will be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC/Mac this summer! And you can be certain that we will be talking about this game much more as it nears its release!
