I love suspense, as much as I love horror. A good movie for suspense is Denzel Washington's "Out of Time". I must compare "Command Performance" with this movie. Both stories kept me right on the edge of my seat. Especially as there are various murders that take place from 1910 to 1936 to 1955. Murders in which there are missing organs. Hellboy being the paranormal sleuth that he is investigates the Grand Guignol in Paris of 1991 and discovers live performances of some gory murders that take place right on stage in front of a live audience. I was enjoying every scene displaying a fighting Hellboy going against various evils on stage and when all was said and done, Hellboy receives a standing ovation! Couldn't have asked for more!
Then the story "Friday" was incredibly exciting too. Of course, I really like Lobster Johnson. This was some very good entertainment for this evening! (Hellboy Weird Tales #6). Fast MOE Sidenote: Be on the lookout for Shrek #2 of 3 from Dark Horse Comics, Ferret and Vesuvius are trying to get rid of Shrek, but it won't be easy! Appearances of Hansel and Gretel & Little Bo Peep are in this issue and there is even homage to the Wizard of Oz!
