What Marvel Said:
The deadliest super villains in the world Ė the Green Goblin, Electro, Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, and the Sandman Ė have been taken prisoner by Nick Fury & S.H.I.E.L.D. Why have they been brought together? And who is the mysterious 6th member of this "Sinister Six"?
What I Think:
The mini series I thought had finished! When I picked up my weekly standing order I was shocked to see this issue, I actually forgot that this series was not finished. Anyway we last left off with Norman Osborne AKA GREEN GOBLIN confronted by his son Harry in the midst of attacking the White House.
This issue was really a wrap up issue to a series that started with excitement and promise, but ended with an extra issue that didnít really deliver the goods. There is a nice moment between Norman and Harry, a cool final scene between Fury and Captain America - but thatís it.
The art was ok, same standard as the previous issue, gritty is the best way to describe it. A couple of nice spreads, especially as Harry faces down his father. The cover was standard, nice posing from the six leads.
The story sets up Harry as a future villain, but thatís about all we got out of the whole affair.
In The End:
Disappointing ending to an ok mini series, I guess it will make better reading in a graphic novel or if I read all seven issues in a row.
