Ash fights his way through an army of zombies led by his resurrected evil twin. Just when he thinks he’s locked the book away forever, it turns out he’s made things worse. Fortunately, his past self travels through time to the present with an army to win the day.
To be honest, I got completely lost in the story. I’m not sure how the other Ash’s adventure relates to the Army of Darkness movie, what the Puzzle Tomb was supposed to do, or how many Old Guy’s there are. All I know is there’s lots of zombie-blasting action, funny one-liners, and tiny green Ashes. Bradshaw’s pencils recapture the fun, hectic energy of the movie, and that’s what I was looking for. My confusion means I’ll have to re-read the entire series carefully.
