Writer: Jimmy Palmiotti & Joe Quesada
Artists: Lee Moder, Chris Garcia(c)
Let me break it down for you. Lee Moder artwork means excellent action choreography and a decidedly lanky cast of characters, which is a refreshing change from the painted hypermuscle man and wisp-waisted, bent-back trollop schools of art.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada tap their inner Tarrentino. We learn a little more about how exactly Jane's power works. Somebody unfamiliar with the Painkiller Jane continuity learns how she feels toward the boys and girls in blue.
In terms of plot, somebody gets his or her ear shot off. Somebody gets shot through the eye. There's a huge explosion, and Jane reveals her fine, naked ass for a good six panels.
If you don't think any of that is worth a quarter, then I don't know why you're even frequenting a comic book shop.
