Writers: Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Mark Waid
Artists: Keith Giffen (breakdowns); Joe Bennett (p), Jack Jadson & Belardino Brabo (i), David Baron (colors)

Publisher: DC Comics

The Plot Tease: Buddyís back! Starfireís back! Adamís eyes are back! The big three are back! The Main Manís back! Mr. Mindís back! The universe had better watch its back!

The Heroes: Buddy Baker: Buddyís back! Yay! Plus, the writers donít mess with our emotions by dragging out his reunion or teasing marital problems. I canít wait to see Buddy in action now that his powers have apparently been ramped up.

Starfire: Wow! Talk about persevering to do a good deed! Buddyís wifeís reaction and his sonís are hilarious. Standard stuff from a wife whoís apparently not that familiar with some of the superheroes currently in action, as well as a son who probably just thinks he hit the jackpot! Just wait until Buddy tells him about certain parts of the trip! Of course, that story will probably need to be told a few years later.

The Big Three: Standard fare for a superhero reunion, of sorts. Dianaís critically checking out Donna in the new Wonder Woman duds, Bruce is getting back into his cautious skin with his religion remark, and Clark is, of course, maintaining his constant optimism. Iím sure theyíre all anxious to get back into the groove of things. Too bad Donna isnít drawn like Donna, but more like a Diana mirror. They ARE sisters, but generally itís easier to tell them apart, regardless of what theyíre wearing.

The Teen Titans: Interesting explanation here of why Robinís costume has changed, and quite honestly, it isnít something Iíd thought of. Also, it's good to see Kid Devil find his way into the group.

Adam Strange: Wow, not only does he get new eyes, heís now 20 years younger! Itís amazing what liberties can be taken with art in this series. Regardless, it should be interesting to see what kind of role his new eyes will play in his further adventures. Nice touch having the Green Lanterns help him out.

Rip Hunter/Booster Gold: Exciting! I canít wait to see how it ends! I canít wait to pick up Boosterís new series! I still say Rip is really Daniel Carter. Did they really just leave T.O. Morrow to the wolves? Hopefully time travel will mean it wonít matter. I guess weíre going back to week one!

The Villains: Lobo: Sure, we quietly grin just a bit, but heís still a villain. I have NO idea where this story might go, if it goes anywhere, but itís pretty wild that he does this after having always loved his little fishy buddies.

Skeets/Mr. Mind: Wow. Not quite the visual I was expecting, but the reveal itself isnít all THAT suprising at this point. Whatís kind of funny is that Booster is acting like heís seeing some gigantic hideous thing, but if you think about it, that full page image is actually pretty small since he fits into Skeets. Still, Iíd love to have been there in the writers' meeting when this image was brainstormed. I feel bad for Skeets, but hey, this is time travel weíre dealing with. Donít count out our little mechanical friend just yet!

The Resolution: Whatís Buddyís greater purpose?

Will Batwoman live?

What will Adam Strange do next?

How will Rip and Booster save the day?

Will we see the further madcap adventures of T.O. Morrow or the other island scientists?

Do you realize that this is the last time I get to post these questions?????

We can only hope that these and other questions will be addressed in the FINAL installment of 52!
