Here is an episode we recorded a while ago but weren’t able to post until today! Hooray!

Sina Grace is an old friend of the show and he returns to discuss his latest auto-biographical release, Self-Obsessed from Image Comics.

A collection of works ranging throughout Sina’s time on earth, from early comics testing out the form to his latest and greatest work yet. The strips, stories, and essays within paint an earnest portrait of an artist who uses humor, self-deprecation, and fantasy to showcase painful truths about himself. It’s a great read and well worth your time.

But because this is a book club we made Sina pick something else to read. In keeping with the theme, he chose Ken Niimura‘s own collection of semi-biographical stories Henshin!

Plus we talk about Jenny Lewis because we both LOOOVE Jenny Lewis.

Next week will see Tucker Stone of Nobrow return to the show to discuss Punisher War Journal: Jigsaw and much more!
