‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Getting 20th-Anniversary Concert Tour

Celebrate the 20th-anniversary of Avatar: The Last Airbender in style by visiting the once-in-a-lifetime concert experience, going on tour later this year and into 2026!

Nickelodeon’s beloved animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender is not only one of the greatest cartoons ever made, but it’s also among the elite of fantasy shows in general. This year marks two decades of the series, and in celebration of this immense milestone, the Avatar concert is embarking on a world tour of more than 80 cities.

Per the event’s official page, the immersive, two-hour performance features a full orchestra, seamlessly accompanying the adventures of the Gaang. “From taiko drums and erhu to soaring strings and delicate woodwinds, the music comes alive alongside the adventures of Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko, and more, all brought together by Zuckerman’s expanded arrangements and creative collaboration with original series editor  Jeff Adams.”

The tour begins in September 2025, jumping around cities in the United States, before embarking on various dates throughout Europe, including several locations in the UK such as Manchester, Liverpool, York, Edinburgh, and Bristol — where the tour will conclude on October 18th, 2026. You can buy tickets and see the full list of tour dates here.

“When I started work on Avatar: The Last Airbender, it was a dream to have the music performed by an orchestra,” said Zuckerman, the Award-winning composer of the Avatar soundtrack. “Now, over 20 years later, with the concert tour, that dream has come true in a way I never could have imagined. It’s profound for me to see the Avatar community of fans — so wonderfully diverse — come together to celebrate the show through its music. The atmosphere of joy at the concerts is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I’m elated that more people will continue to share in it.”

Avatar in Concert is another wonderful way to experience the series. The Avatar Universe is more popular than ever nowadays. Of course, there’s the live-action adaptation at Netflix, as well as numerous animated projects in development and coming soon. This is, undoubtedly, a very exciting time to be an Avatar fan.
