One year ago, July 6, 2018, the Ant-Man and the Wasp movie came out. We were introduced to 2 new characters. They were Bill Foster and Ghost.

Let’s find out how these characters are doing in the comic book world.

Ghost first appeared in Iron Man 219 (June 1987). Ghost is a super-villain who has the ability to phase through objects.

Ghost in the comic book was a male character. However, the producers thought the role will be irrelevant in the movie and have a female character for the role of Ghost.

A  copy of Iron Man 219 CGC 9.6 sold for 193.50 in May 2018

There were three Iron Man 219  CGC 9.6 sold within July 2018 when the movie debuted. One went for $274.99 on July 3, second one sold for $300.00 on July 25 and the other sold for $130.38 on July 27 (ouch!). The first 2 was buy-it-now. The last one was a one-day auction that explains why it was sold so low-not many people saw the auction.

It is one year now from the movie debuted, let’s see how that Ghost is doing now. Prices of the first appearance of Ghost has came back down to earth because one copy of Iron Man 219 CGC 9.6 sold for $73.00 on June 16 and another copy sold for $57.00 on June 25.

Bill Foster  first appeared in Avengers #32 (September 1966) published by Marvel Comics written by Stan Lee and drawn by Don Heck. Bill Foster started out as a biochemist for Tony Stark’s factory. Later he worked as an assistant to Hank Pym. Bill acquired his power by using Pym’s formula. He has superhuman strength and size manipulation.

A recent copy of Avengers #32 CGC 9.6 sold for $430.00 in July 2018

There was one copy Avengers #32 CGC 9.6 sold in August 26 for $338.00. The book went down by almost $100.

Unfortunately, there was no copy of Avengers #32 CGC 9.6 sold on ebay in the last 6 months. Don’t know what the market is for this book now.

Bill Foster and Ghost- Did they survived the snap? Will they appeared in the next Ant-Man movie? They were weak characters in the movie so I don’t think they will play a bigger role in the next movie if they do appear.

Final Recommendation: Sell
