Pokémon Go – 4 Years Anniversary
Monday, July 6 will be the 4 years anniversary of Pokémon Go launch. This augmented reality, location-based game is owned by Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company.
One of the biggest addition to Pokemon Go from July 2019 to July 2020 is PVP battles around the wold. The preseason started in January 28, 2020. After the preseason, there was the Great League. The Ultra League began on February 10. The Master League began on February 24. The Great League returned on March 9. The leagues rotate on a regular basis.
Great League -maximum CP per pokemon is 1500.
Ultra League -maximum CP per pokemon is 2500.
Master League -maximum CP per pokemon is No Limit.
You get to pick 3 pokemon to battle. During battle, you have the fast move and the charge move. You have two protect shields for the entire game so use them wisely.
There are in-game rewards like stardust, stones, Technical Machines, pokemon encounter and rare candies base on your rank and wins. There are two rewards (Basic -no raid pass and Premium – raid pass). Battle entry good for 5 rounds.
Great League
I found this League to be the most difficult because there are so many Pokemon to choose from. I am not too familiar with all of them. However, most of my colleagues like this league the best. My win-lost record for this one is not great.  As you play a lot, you will know which Pokemon are common and lead. The below video show the common and lead Pokemon for Great League.

Ultra League

This league I have better success than Great. I struggled at first but now I find out the 3 Pokemon to use to play in Ultra.

The below video show the common and lead Pokemon for Ultra League.

Master League

This is my favorite league. I know a lot of players hate this league because they don’t have the pokemon powered up, don’t have the legendary, don’t have the second move, etc. I tend to go on average 4-1 each round.

The below video show the common and lead Pokemon for Master League.

Premier Cup

No need to worry if you don’t like Master League, the Premier Cup is coming. This Cup will start on Monday, July 6 at 1 pm (PDT). It will last till Monday, July 20 (1PDT). This Cup is like Master League but no legendary and mythical pokemon allowed.

Pokémon Go have some competition now. There are couple augmented reality games in play.  There are Jurassic World Alive (May 2018), Ghostbusters  World (2018) and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite (June 2019).
With the popularity of Pokémon Go and Pokémon: Detective Pikachu movie that came out in May 2019, fans are not into Pokémon comic books. Why read when you can catch them all.
