Swamp Thing started production in the fall 2019 in North Carolina. Swamp Thing is produced by James Wan. James is famous for be a director in Insidious (2010), Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), Conjuring (2013), Furious 7 (2015), The Conjuring 2 (2016) and Aquaman (2018). Len Wiseman is directing the episodes. Swamp Thing has 10 episodes instead of 13 episodes. Was DC streaming service in trouble?
Swamp Thing first appearance was in House of Secrets #92 (July 1971) published by DC Comics and created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. Swamp Thing fought against people who killed his wife and people who caused him to turn into this monster. One of the villains was Dr. Anton Arcane. Dr. Arcane has an obsession of immortality. Swamp Thing has developed a special bond with Dr. Arcane’s niece, Abigail. This TV show will be similar to the movie The Shape of Water (2017 American dark romantic fantasy movie winning Best Picture).
Crystal Reed (famous for her role in TV Wolf and Gotham)  plays the part of Abby Arcane. Andy Bean plays the human form of Swamp Thing while Derek Mears is the Swamp Thing.

This book keeps dropping because there was a best offer price of $1300 for House of Secrets 92 CGC 7.0 on May 12, 2020.
In May 2020 The CW bought the rights to Swamp Thing and will air the episodes on Tuesday, 8-9 pm. This show will take the time slot of The Flash which will debut in January 2021.

This is  a great book to get in any condition if you can afford it. Many advisors on Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide  mentioned they can’t keep this book in stock. The hype of this show has died down for now but with the Swamp Thing on The CW, this book might rebound.
