Creepshow fans, rejoice! The horror anthology series is getting its own, super-powered spinoff series, following the success of one-shot Super Creepshow Special. Now, publisher Skybound has announced a star-studded lineup of creators.
Creepshow is one of the most popular and beloved horror anthologies of all-time. It all began back in the ’80s with the original movie, directed by genre legend George A. Romero (of zombie movie fame) and written by Stephen King. The movie spawned a sequel, and of course, Greg Nicotero’s cult TV series on Shudder. The series would make its natural progression into the comics medium through Image Comics/Skybound in 2019, garnering a dedicated audience of its own.
The Creep-Verse is now expanding into the superhero field in the form of Super Creepshow. The superpowered spinoff debuted in October 2025 with one-shot Super Creepshow Special #1. It will expand into an ongoing series this March.
Now, Skybound and Image Comics have revealed the creators who took the Creep’s oath. The all-new series spins off of the Eisner Award-nominated comic book anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Evoke Entertainment Company. Centered on superheroes and supervillains of the creepiest variety, Super Creepshow #1 will hit comic book shops on March 18, 2026.
In the spirit of all iterations of Creepshow in pop culture, every issue of the Super Creepshow comic series comes packed with two stomach-churning stories from your favorite creators taking you on the super hero horror journey you never dared imagine! Each issue of the five-part anthology will feature different creative teams from the worlds of comics, books, film, television, and beyond. Every uniquely horrifying standalone story is guaranteed to scare you to death.
