Action Lab’s mature comics imprint Danger Zone releases the follow-up comic from the Holy Fuck team of Daniel Arruda Massa and Nick Marino in January. Cougar and Cub is a genre-skewering take on dynamic duos and cape comics, about a superhero who has a sexual relationship with her sidekick and the occupational hazards that come with the territory.

Joining the team with her contributions to the backup stories, Rosie Knight of Women Write About Comics and the Comics Beat makes her scripting debut in a collaboration with Arruda Massa.

In addition to a preview for the first issue the team has provided the entire backup story from issue #3. Check out Arruda Massa and Knight’s drug-induced journey through a cross-hatched, 70’s underground era aesthetic—as well as a couple of pages from the first issue.

The first issue’s Final Order Cutoff is today (12/12) and the comic will be in shops on January 4th, 2017.
