First Look at Mike Mignola’s ‘Hellboy in Hell’ Book 2 Artist’s Edition

Act 4 Publishing & Skybound have revealed a first look at Mike Mignola’s gorgeous Hellboy in Hell Book 2 Artist’s Edition. Behold!

Skybound and Image Comics, in partnership with Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 Publishing, have revealed a preview of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy in Hell Book 2 Artist’s Edition — and it’s a thing of beauty. While Hellboy in Hell has had plenty of special editions over the years, this one particularly stands out; it’s an art book disguised as a comic collection. The art shows off Mignola’s unique and haunting work as it was originally drawn, in full dartboard size. The edition is slated for release on March 25, 2026.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to know and occasionally work with Mike Mignola for decades,” said Scott Dunbier. “His beautiful art, stunning power of contrast, and magnificent story telling abilities continue to mesmerize with everything he does. If there was such a thing as a printed ‘Ted Talk,’ this book would be it.”

The gigantic Artists Edition (consisting of over 180 pages) collects the concluding five issues of Hellboy in Hell, issues #6-10. It also contains numerous covers and illustrations. Additionally, it comes with an introduction by comics artist and designer of the original Hellboy logo, Kevin Nowlan, as well as an afterword by veteran comics and animation artist Steve Purcel. This is the ultimate collector’s edition.
