If you wanted more stories from the Fifteenth Doctor, comics have you covered. In Doctor Who: The Prison Paradox, the titular Time-Lord returns for an all-new epic adventure — with the return of fan-favorite villains.
Comic book publisher Titan Comics has been releasing Doctor Who titles for several years now, and many of them are excellent. Earlier this year, they released the full graphic novel of Everyone Must Go, in which the Doctor and Ruby Sunday find themselves in the distant future, in Sanctum — the last surviving shopping mall on Planet Earth. The comic received great reviews, and now the Fifteenth Doctor (played on screen by Ncuti Gatwa) is returning for another adventure.
Written by Dan Watters with art by Sami Kivelä, new comic series The Prison Paradox reunites the Doctor with companion Belinda Chandra, as well as a rag-tag group of other unlikely friends, as they work together to infiltrate a prison that holds all sorts of monsters from across the universe — including the Slitheen.
The official log-line for the series reads: Experience a Doctor Who adventure like no other in DOCTOR WHO: THE PRISON PARADOX #1 as the Doctor, Belinda, and an unlikely team of allies infiltrate a prison holding monsters and villains from across the cosmos. With new friends and old foes, and some old foes who might just be new friends, it’s an adventure that will take you across the Whoniverse…and beyond!
