Kickstarter Spotlight: The Degenerate Ziac & His Unruly Adventures #1

Daniel Gehen
April 14, 2020
Kickstarter Spotlight, News

While the comics industry is on hiatus (and the problem with a single distributor being exposed), it has forced readers and creators to explore other avenues. Crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter have typically been a great way for independent creators to get their projects off the ground, and the COVID-19 pandemic is providing more reason for people to turn to these sites.

One eye-catching project is The Degenerate Ziac & His Unruly Adventures, a sci-fi action title about a group of renegades fighting for survival. Oh, and one of the characters is a dinosaur, which is awesome.

For more on The Degenerate Ziac, check out the excerpt below and the Kickstarter campaign here.

The Degenerate Ziac & His Unruly Adventures #1

Join Ziac & his crew of renegades in the year 2028 on the floating city of New Phili.

The Degenerate Ziac and His Unruly Adventures is a 25 page, full color comic that will be a part of the ongoing series presented by IC: Ichor Comics. Ziac will take place in the futuristic floating city of New Philadelphia. Corrupted by lust, greed and depravity New Phili is constantly filled with chaos. Ziac is an intense sci-fi fantasy with elements of action, witty banter, and theoretical mystery.  Written and illustrated by Nicholas Steiner.

About The Author

Daniel Gehen
Editor-in-Chief

Dan was introduced to the 1960s Batman show at a young age, which developed into a lifelong passion for comics. When he's not grinding out his day job, he can be found reading about Scarlet Speedsters, Web-Heads, or Sagas just about anywhere. If it's good he'll read it. If it's bad... there's a chance he still might read it.
