I always like it when a comic tries for a new or different storytelling approach. Matt Kindt had a Kickstarter recently for Mind MGMT comic/vinyl record, which was awesome. This leads me to The Lost Falcon, another interactive comic project that uses disappearing ink for an interactive, mystery-solving experience within its pages.
Also, the story looks pretty dope too.
From the project’s “About” section,
My name is Estrella Vega, and I’m an artist/printmaker who makes books, but doesn’t like to appear on camera. This Kickstarter is to help me pay some of the printing costs for my interactive comic book “The Lost Falcon”.
The “Lost Falcon” is a story inspired from Egyptian mythology. It follows a young nomad who goes on journey so the sun can rise again. In order to uncover the mysteries in the book, the reader needs a heat source (like a hair dryer, heat pad, warm hands) to make the thermal ink disappear and reveal the image underneath.
