A new listing has revealed that a new Avatar: The Last Airbender comic, titled ‘Jet – Rebels and Rhinos’ is coming later this year

Over the years, the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe has expanded massively in the comics medium. Published by Dark Horse Comics, there’s plenty of graphic novel titles coming out throughout 2026, such as Avatar Legends: Masters Of The Elements, Avatar: The Last Airbender—Kyoshi Warriors, andAvatar: The Last Airbender Chibis Volume 2 – Sokka’s Boomerang Class.
Now, thanks to a listing on Penguin Random House, we can add another Avatar graphic novel to the 2026 roster. Titled Jet – Rebels and Rhinos, the 80-page graphic novel chronicles the origin story of Jet, the leader of the freedom fighters in Avatar: The Last Airbender. The graphic novel is written by Faith Erin Hicks (Universal Monsters: The Mummy) with artist Peter Wartman (Stonebreaker, Over the Wall)

The graphic novel is set for release on September 8, 2026.
This year is all set up to be a big one for the Avatar Universe. Of course, there’s season 3 of Netflix’s live-action remake/adaptation later this year. Also, Avatar Studios will debut their long-awaited The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender feature movie, set to arrive in October.
