Stitch Wields Thor’s Hammer in New Variant Marvel Comic

Everyone rejoice! Stitch is worthy of Mjölnir. But don’t take it from me: the moment is captured in an all-new variant comic book cover.

Coming this September, Disney’s beloved Stitch, whose popularity has recently been rekindled by this year’s live-action Lilo & Stitch movie, takes over Marvel Comics in five new variant covers. The covers are drawn by some top industry talent, such as Paco Medina, Phil Noto, Humberto Ramos, Ben Su, and Luciano Vecchio.

The crossover artwork pays homage to the milestone 100th issue of each respective series, including Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.

Marvel’s official report reads: Stitch crashes some of Marvel Comics’ most historic covers! True to his nature, the mischievous—and adorable—alien experiment causes all kinds of trouble, appearing alongside your favorite super heroes for the first time ever and unleashing chaos on the entire Marvel Universe!

Check out some of the covers, beginning with The Avengers:
