‘The Boys’ Season 5 Has Wrapped Filming!

The fifth and final season of Prime Video’s The Boys is one step closer to release, folks. The season has wrapped filming.

The Boys season 5 is all set up to be its most epic outing yet. It’s all set up to have a grand showdown between the show’s most opposing figures: the oppressive, pathologically cruel and power-hungry Homelander (Antony Starr) and his arch-nemesis Billy Butcher (Karl Urban). Fans have been waiting on this showdown for a long time now, and while the final season won’t air until 2026, the final season has just hit one major milestone. Filming has officially wrapped.

Confirmation of the season wrapping comes from Isabella Crovetti, sister of star Cameron Crovetti (who plays Ryan). Posting on her Instagram story, Crovetti shared images of herself and brother Cameron at “The Boys’ Season 5 Wrap Party” on June 21, 2025 — confirming that the show has wrapped. Or at the very least, is incredibly, tantalisingly close to wrapping.

Nobody is safe in the final season of The Boys.

The Boys no doubt has many surprises in store for its final season. Prepare for gore and vulgarity turned to the maximum, as our heroes and villains enter their final moments. In fact, showrunner Eric Kripke has previously teased that nothing is off the table in the final batch of episodes. With the show having no obligations to keep certain characters alive, plot armour is removed.

“That’s the fun of the final season. You can blow the doors off it,” Kripke told Games Radar. ” There’s no guarantee who’s going to survive because you don’t have to keep [the cast] for another season. So you can have really shocking, big things happen all the time. The writers, as we’re starting to cook it up, we’re really enjoying that.”

Catch The Boys season 5 on Prime Video in 2026. Before then, however, we’ll first see the return of popular spinoff Gen V, continuing the story of the next generation of Supes in Vought’s harsh academy. Gen V season 2 premieres September 17 on Prime Video.
