Romuald Giulivo and Jakub Rebelka bring their hit graphic novel, The Last Day of H.P. Lovecraft to BOOM! Studios!
H.P. Lovecraft is right up there with the likes of Edgar Allan Poe when it comes to seminal horror authors. His works of cosmic horror, most notably the Cthulhu mythos, is a titan of the genre. Lovecraft’s works have become must-read for all horror fans — and you may have experienced them without even realising. Lovecraft’s legacy has continued to inspire creators across all mediums, such as novelists, gaming, film, and television. Wherever you look, you see his influence.
Now, French creators Romuald Giulivo and Jakub Rebelka bring their popular graphic novel depicting (a fictionalised version of) Lovecraft’s last day, to readers in English-language for the first time. The original graphic novel was published in France in 2023, chronicling “the final journey of a complex and tortured man facing his choices, his writings, and his wrongs at the very last moment of his life.”
In their official announcement, publisher BOOM! Studios revealed further details about the upcoming graphic novel:
