Behold our first-look at DC Comics’ upcoming crossover event, DC x Sonic the Hedgehog, coming to comic book stores on March 19!

One of the most exciting comic book events of March 2025 is DC x Sonic the Hedgehog — a new collaboration between DC Comics and IDW Publishing. Written by Ian Flynn with art by Adam Bryce Thomas, the comic promises to be a big crossover event where Sonic meets the Justice League. And yes, we’ll finally learn if Sonic is faster than The Flash.

Check out the official synopsis:

GOTTA. GO. FLASH-FAST. It’s a crossover event unlike any other! The monstrous Darkseid crosses dimensions to invade the world of Sonic the Hedgehog, seeking the ultimate power. Sonic and his friends have faced everything from mad scientists to ancient spirits, but the forces of Apokolips may be too much for them. Thankfully, the full heroic might of the Justice League arrives to back them up! Don’t miss part one of this unique crossover event!

The Sonic the Hedgehog crossover is the latest in a successful run of crossovers in recent years. We’ve previously seen numerous events, seeing the Justice League come across Godzilla, King Kong, He-Man, the Masters of the Universe, and more. This crossover in particular is part of a larger collaboration between Warner Bros. and Sega, which will see a gluttony of merchandise coming to stores!

DC x Sonic the Hedgehog arrives in comic stores on March 19th. Not long now, folks! Will you be picking it up? Tell us in the comments down below! The graphic novel is out later this year, and you can pre-order it on Amazon here.
