‘We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us’ a Certified Hit at Image Comics

Matthew Rosenberg’s comic series We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us is a bona fide hit at Image Comics. Issue #3 has been rushed back to print following an immensely successful launch.

Image Comics has had some 2025 so far, stumbling upon hit after hit. From titles like Assorted Crisis Events, Bug Wars, You’ll Do Bad Things and Exquisite Corpses — there’s incredible comics wherever you look. And of course, there’s also We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us by Matthew Rosenberg, which the publisher has just announced has been rushed back to print after selling out its third issue.

We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us is written by Rosenberg ((4 Kids Walk Into A Bank) and illustrated by Stefano Landini (Daredevil, Prodigy). The official synopsis for the series reads: After her mad-scientist father is killed by the world’s greatest spy, 13-year-old Annalise is left all alone in the world. Sort of. Her dead dad’s robot bodyguard is following her around for some reason. Now Annalise has a choice: try to lead a normal life for the first time ever…or seek revenge and maybe overthrow the world order in the process.

Issue #1 debuted to fantastic critic reviews. The series has since garnered a devoted readership, with issue #3 selling out completely at distributor level, leading Image to rush the series back to print. “Another reprint?” Rosenberg said. “Y’all are wild.”

In We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us #3, Annalise is learning that sometimes the enemy of your enemy is also your enemy. But maybe when you have a robot-man who will kill for you, you don’t need many friends. The action-packed tale of espionage and evil empires, generational trauma and global power struggles, and the little girl caught in between continues here.
