After over two decades, industry titans Marvel and DC are offering up some super exciting crossover events later this year. The latest to be confirmed is Daredevil/Green Arrow, helmed by Kevin Smith and Andy Kubert.

Both Marvel and DC have had a storied rivalry since the mid 20th-century. However, the two titans of the American comic book industry have crossed paths a couple of times in the past, beginning with crossover event Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man back in 1976. The crossovers would continue periodically throughout the next 25 years, with the most recent being Kurt Busiek’s JLA/Avengers(2003–2004).

Later this year, the two publishers will once again join forces, with some incredibly exciting crossover events. The headline crossover is spearheaded by Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo with Daredevil/Batman, which you can learn more about here. There’s plenty of more crossover goodness where that comes from, thanks to a leaked page from Marvel’s September solicits (h/t ComicBookMovie). A lot of esteemed creators are on board, with Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson writing a Captain America/Wonder Woman story; Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru penning a Jeff the Land Shark/Krypto; and lastly, Kevin Smith and Andy Kubert creating a Daredevil/Green Arrow crossover.

These crossover duos are more than enough to excite fans. Daredevil/Green Arrow, written by Kevin Smith, seems like a particularly impressive project. Of course, Smith has a rich history with Daredevil, having previously written Daredevil: Guardian Devil (1998–1999) alongside artist Joe Quesada. He was also instrumental in the rebirth of Green Arrow with Green Arrow: Quiver (2001–2002). Having him involved in this crossover event feels particularly fitting.

The crossovers begin with Deadpool/Batman debuts September 17, 2025; followed a couple of months later by Batman/Deadpool in November. The three back-up comics are expected to drop in September, too. Will you be picking them up? Tell us in the comments down below!
