Spider-Man: Brand New Day teases Tom Holland’s ‘brand new’ suit

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man gets an upgrade. The hero has a sleek new costume in a new teaser for Spider-Man: Brand New Day

With the arrival of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in 2026, Tom Holland will officially become the first Spidey actor to play the hero in four solo movies, overtaking Tobey Maguire. Production on the upcoming MCU film is underway, and it also seems like the iconic Spider-Man suit is getting an upgrade of its own!

Tom Holland’s previous appearance as Spider-Man came in No Way Home (2021), which was the ultimate Spider-Man fan-fest. Not only was Holland involved, but previous Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also reprised their roles. A number of iconic villains returned, too, such as Alfred Molina’s Doc Oak and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin.

By the end of No Way Home, everyone lost their memories of Peter Parker as a result of Doctor Strange’s spell. Before Brand New Day, Spider-Man is expected to (but not yet officially confirmed) to feature in the MCU’s upcoming ensemble movie Avengers: Doomsday.

Anyway, our first teaser for Brand New Day has arrived. The short tease gives fans a debut look at the web slinger’s all-new suit, featuring sharper black and red colours, with raised edges. It also has a super-sleek black spider webbing design. Take a look for yourself:

The movie is currently shooting in Glasgow, Scotland, which has been turned into a double of New York City. The scale of the production is enormous, with numerous roads being shut down, now filled with quintessential yellow taxis and cop cars.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day premieres July 31, 2026. The movie will also mark the return of several fan-favorite characters, such as Zendaya as M.J. and Jacob Balaton as Ned Leeds. Are you excited? Tell us in the comments down below.
