Avengers: Doomsday directors Joe and Anthony Russo are keen to see superstar actress Millie Bobby Brown enter the MCU. “Millie’s on the list for every project.”
From Stranger Things, to Damsel, Enola Holmes, The Electric State, and so on — Millie Bobby Brown shows up everywhere nowadays. She’s one of the most prolific and celebrated young actresses in Hollywood. And yet, she’s still not landed a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, if directors Joe and Anthony Russo get their way, she’ll definitely be making a debut foray to the world of superheroes.
Millie Bobby Brown collaborated with long-time Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo earlier this year on Netflix’s The Electric State. The big budget sci-fi film was a pretty major flop for the streamer, being almost instantly panned by critics. On the Marvel side of things, however, the directors have seen immense success. For instance, Avengers: Endgame is the second highest-grossing movie of all time.
With the duo hard at work on bringing Doomsday to our screens in 2026, fans are wondering whether there are any surprises in store, especially regarding new faces. Given the Russo’s recent work with Millie Bobby Brown, it’s entirely feasible that she could show up — and in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Joe Russo made it clear that Bobby Brown is on his dream cast list.
“Millie’s on the list for every project. You can’t honestly, you just can’t ask for a bigger star right now,” he said. :She’s just so lovely, Yeah, we’ll put her in anything.”
This by no means confirms that she’s making an appearance, but it’s a pretty big showing of intent. We’d love to see Millie Bobby Brown join the MCU, but who would she play? We’ll leave that question to you; tell us your answers in the comments down below!
