DC Comics Preview: ‘Batman #3’ introduces Riddler & Vandal Savage

Fraction and Jimenez’s Batman run promises to take things to a whole new level in issue #3, which features Vandal Savage and The Riddler. Here’s our preview!

Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jiménez’s Batman run has a lot of pressure on its shoulders. And rightly so, given that it marks only the fourth renumbering in the Batman’s illustrious 85-year history. So far, the first two issues have been pretty solid, meriting mostly positive reviews from readers. We particularly enjoyed issue #2, which saw Robin get himself into a scuffle with the GCPD. Looking ahead to issue #3, which debuts on Wednesday, 5 November, the series releases its most dense issue yet, featuring both the Riddler and Vandal Savage.

Issue #3 is jam-packed with content, following Vandal Savage as he makes his move against both Batman and Robin. At the same time, Bruce Wayne tries to make amends, and the Riddler is at large, attempting to claim one of the most important items in all of Gotham.
