‘Ben 10 #6’ Preview: Joe Casey Says The Series is “Kicking Things Up to a Whole Other Level”

Ben 10 continues to make big swings when it enters its next phase with issue #6 in November. “Robert Carey and I are kicking things up to a whole other level,” creator Joe Casey teases.
Huge moments await in Dynamite Entertainment’s ongoing Ben 10 comic from Joe Casey, which retells the original series in comic form. So far, the series has been a monumental success, even featuring in month-on-month bestseller lists. When issue #1 debuted back in May, it was quickly embraced by readers. In fact, according to a report from ICv2 (which you should definitely check out for a more detailed breakdown of figures), final orders ended up with over 80,000 copies. Taking into account overprints, retailer editions and blind bags, Ben 10 #1 sold over 112,000 copies. Since then, the series has showed no signs of slowing down.
November 2026 kicks off the next major phase for the series. It sees Joe Casey return to writing duties, following his initial trio of issues that set up the origin and Steven Seagle’s arc with Zombozo. In addition, the sixth issue is offering fans some glorious extras. This includes a free bonus poster with exclusive artwork by franchise co-creator Duncan Rouleau. This poster will be available alongside covers A through F via a polybag and in the Premium Mystery Blind Bag. Duncan’s stunning artwork showcases some of the characters and stories that the series has already included, as well as teasing upcoming arcs including his own turn contributing to the series beyond his jaw-dropping covers. A key character on the poster is being hidden in this announcement, and fans will have to grab this issue to find out who it is
The official teaser for the next arc of the series reads: The adventure of a lifetime continues! Grandpa Max is forced to put Ben and the Omnitrix to the ultimate test, exploring what the young boy’s mysterious powers can truly encompass. When the results end up being catastrophic, Ben Tennyson is brought face to face for the very first time with one of his most iconic villains!
“It’s great to be home again!,” said writer Joe Casey. “And this time around, Robert Carey and I are kicking things up to a whole other level. We’re introducing a major new villain to the series and raising the dramatic stakes at the same time. Not to mention, we’ve still got more aliens to see in action! To all the loyal Ben 10 fans out there — trust us, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”
