The reported duration for the MCU’s most anticipated flick of 2025, Fantastic Four: First Steps, has reportedly been revealed. And the run time makes it the longest Fantastic Four movie to date.

Summer 2025 is all set up to be hugely exciting for Marvel and DC fans. On the DC side of things, James Gunn and Peter Safran’s all-new DC Universe will kick off with Superman, starring David Corenswet as the titular Man of Steel. And for Marvel, fans will finally see the arrival of the Fantastic Four.

Sure, we’ve already seen a few teases of Marvel’s first family throughout the franchise. Of course, there’s John Krasinski’s cameo as Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And Chris Evans more recently reprised his role of Johnny Storm in Deadpool & Wolverine. But none of the main ‘Sacred Timeline’ Fantastic Four cast have debuted yet. Our official Fantastic Four is Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing).

The film looks fantastic, taking place in the 1970s, while also having a gorgeous retro-futuristic style. Check out the trailer:

What is the duration of ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’?

Marvel Studios has yet to confirm an official release date for the debut Fantastic Four movie. However, various reports are all pointing towards a final run time of 2 hours and 20 minutes. In addition, the official ODEON page is listing the exact same duration. There is some significance of this run time. At 2 hours and 20 minutes, it would instantly become the longest Fantastic Four film ever made. Moreover, this duration would see it as the 10th longest MCU movie.

Of course, duration isn’t everything, but it’s interesting to see the length of the debut nevertheless. We’ll keep you posted once Marvel has confirmed the run time.

Fantastic Four: First Steps premieres July 25th.
