In today’s DC Comics preview, we’re giving you a glimpse of Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s Absolute Batman #10.
Scott Snyder’s Absolute Batman run has been going steady since its launch on October 9, 2024. The flagship project of DC‘s Absolute Universe reboot, Absolute Batman reimagined the character’s mythos, offering up a much grittier take on the hero’s origin. He has not inherited wealth, and Alfred Pennyworth is not a butler, but a hardened operative. Wayne himself isn’t a rich socialite –in his mid-twenties, he works as a civil engineer. This run is a radical new direction for Batman, but one that’s proven to be a big success among readers.
The official synopsis reads: BRUCE WAYNE TRAPPED IN ARK M! Bruce Wayne is trapped within the horrors of Ark M as his best friend Waylon Jones endures unimaginable tortures… but what awaits Batman is far more terrifying than anything either has faced… the true form of Bane is revealed. But it’s how Bane plans to break Batman that will have you, our dear readers, bending over backward.
