Titan Comics has announced an all-new grimdark Dark Souls comic series titled Mother of Mourning.
Published by Titan Comics, the new Dark Souls comic book series comes from established franchise creatives in the form of writer George Mann (Dark Souls: The Willow King, Star Wars) and acclaimed horror artist Maan House (Dark Souls: The Willow King). The new comic series, Mother of Mourning, launches on December 3, 2025.
Issue #1 features some gorgeous variant covers from Bjorn Barends, Warrick Wong, The Knott, and of course, series artist Maan House.

Hope is a fleeting feeling for the Knights of Mourning. But the knightly order is willing to bet everything on their last chance of salvation.
In search of a hero to rekindle the flame, these knights turn to the Mother of Lillies, a soulless mummified saint with legends about her ability to restore balance to the world.
The knights believe that her lost soul will resurrect her and bring them their soughtafter champion to guide them to solace. But madness looms in every knight’s mind and this long-awaited goal might not be what it once seemed…
