As we look ahead to another Wednesday of comic book releases, Marvel Comics has some big hitters coming our way. What’s new? Here’s the lowdown.
Marvel Comics is coming in hot with some particularly big new releases on April 22, 2026. This includes the next issue in the Spider-Man/Superman crossover after the bestselling Superman/Spider-Man in March. There’s also Amazing Spider-Man: Spider-Versity, a series from writer Jordan Morris and artist Pere Perez that we noted among our most hyped for April 2026.
There’s also a new series launch in the Star Wars universe with Galaxy’s Edge – Echoes of the Empire from writer Ethan Sacks and illustrators Roi Mercado and Jethro Morales. It sees Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Chewbacca head to Batuu in search of important intel… and instead stumble upon a dangerous relic.
