Invincible fans rejoice! The show’s upcoming fourth season is slated to premiere in March 2026.

Invincible is one of the best superhero shows in the universe. The animated series debuted back in 2021, making massive waves and becoming one of the most talked-about genre shows by the time its third season aired in earlier this year. Writer Robert Kirkman has previously revealed that there’s enough content for the show to last for upwards of 8 seasons. We’re seated for every episode.

Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves, however. Looking to the upcoming fourth season, fans have been wondering when it could premiere. It’s confirmed to premiere in 2026, but as for a more accurate date, we can confirm that the season 4 will debut in March 2026. We do not currently know whether the season will be split into two parts, but it seems unlikely. Moreover, season 5 is currently in the works too, with a more streamlined production meaning it could release in late 2026 or early 2027. The show has previously been criticised for long wait times between seasons; for instance, season 1 premiered in 2021, and season 2 released in 2024.

Invincible season 3 had an enormous finale, setting up tons of villains and leaving plenty of loose ends. Season 4 promises to be the most epic season yet, especially with the introduction of all-powerful Viltrumite General Thragg. Mark’s finding enemies everywhere, from Earth, to the vast universe, to across the multiverse.

Beyond the TV show, the Invincible Universe continues to grow and develop in other media. The main series of comics may have ended, but spinoff series Capes will soon be reprinted, and the Battle Beast comics are still ongoing. Moreover, there’s a AAA video game in development, and a live-action movie is very much still in the works.
