Tramell Tillman Recalls “Pinch Me” Moment When He Was Cast in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’

As a massive Marvel fan, Tramell Tillman had the ultimate “pinch me” moment when he was cast in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tramell Tillman burst onto the scene after playing Seth Milchick in Apple TV’s Severance, which instantly made him one of the most desirable actors in Hollywood. In 2026, he enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The MCU is all set to have a big 2026. Of course, there’s the much-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, but before that we’ll first see the return of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Set for release in July 2026, the movie has already attracted some big names to its cast. Of course, there’s Stranger Things star Sadie Sink, whose role is still a mystery (more on that here). Plus, Tramell Tillman, best known for his portrayal of Seth Milchick in Severance, is joining the cast.

Being cast in Spider-Man was a defining moment for Tillman, who has been very interested in getting in on the MCU action. Speaking to Variety, Tillman said the casting was a real “pinch me” moment for him. “I’ve always wanted to be in that world,” he said, “to be a part of it is such a gift, and I was treated lovely.”

Much like Sadie Sink, Tillman’s role in Brand New Day remains shrouded in mystery. That said, there are a few rumours circulating. For instance, one report from The Cosmic Circus suggests that he’s playing the new head of the Department of Damage Control (DODC) — an organisation first introduced in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The report says Tillman’s role will see him “lead an investigation by the DODC to apprehend a new rogue metahuman they have been keeping an eye on for a while.” The person they’re chasing? Well apparently it’s Sadie Sink’s character.

We’ll keep you posted on all the latest updates. Spider-Man: Brand New Day premieres in theatres on July 31, 2026.
