Every DC Compact Comic Edition Coming in 2027
In this list we walk you through every DC Compact Comic hitting shelves throughout 2027, from 100 Bullets to Preacher.
DC Comics introduced its Compact Comics line back in June 2024, bringing entire storylines together in pocket-sized, affordable paperback form. These editions were an instant smash-hit for the publisher, giving the next generation of comic readers, or just those who want entire story arcs in one physical edition, the perfect solution. They’re cheap, easy to pick up, and don’t rely on having to pick up trade paperbacks or single issues.
When the compacts launched, DC released two iconic stories: Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons; and Batman: The Court of Owls by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. Since then, the compacts have become a staple for DC, consistently among their best-sellers. Later in 2026, we’ll see everything from Fables to Swamp Thing get the compact treatment. 100 Bullets: First Shot, Last Call
Release date: January 5, 2027
If a stranger offered you the chance to get away with murder…would you take it?

Preacher: Gone to Texas
