In Battle Beast’s quest to search the universe for an opponent worthy of defeating him, he meets his match when he faces off against all-powerful Viltrumite warrior Conquest.
Of all the Viltrumites, not many come with the same fear factor as Conquest. Brutal and unforgiving, he encapsulates Viltrum wrath. When he meets Battle Beast, whose ardent search for a worthy opponent leaves him thirsty for blood, it’s a battle for the ages. Their skirmish in Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #11 is a bloodbath from the first page. The issue comes from the esteemed team of writer Robert Kirkman, co-creator/artist Ryan Ottley (The Amazing Spider-Man), colorist Annalisa Leoni (Cobra Commander), and letterer Rus Wooton (The Walking Dead).
Of course, their fight began in the series’ landmark 10th issue. But with a face-off between these two, one issue simply isn’t enough to cover the battle. Expect more blood, more punches, and a fight elevated in a manner only a Kirkman comic can achieve.
