Ir’s made with the aim of specifically introducing Homer’s story to younger audiences, and features tons of additional reading, such as the work’s themes, language, publication, a timeline of relevant history, and more. For seasoned fans of The Odyssey, this may not be the one, but for introducing the story to new readers, there’s no better graphic novel.

Marvel Illustrated: The Odyssey

The series also retold The Odyssey in what is one of the best comic adaptations of the story. It brilliantly adapts the story with a sense of scale that a publisher like Marvel can achieve.
