New ‘Absolute’ DC Figures Headed to Shelves Soon

It seemed only a matter of time, and now recent reports suggest that DC’s Absolutes line — headlined by Absolute Batman, Absolute Superman, and Absolute Wonder Woman — is getting figures from McFarlane Toys. Rejoice!

If you’ve been reading comics in the last year, chances are you’re well-acquainted with DC‘s Absolute Universe. The series has been top tier, from with titles ranging from Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s Absolute Batman, to Deniz Camp and Javier Rodriguez’s Absolute Martian Manhunter, and so on. These creative, unique, and reimagined takes have rejuvenated these characters. They’re similar enough to feel authentic, but different enough to feel novel. They have everyone flooding into comic stores for the latest issues. “I hope it reminds people that these characters are meant to be renewed,” Scott Snyder said in a 2025 AMA. “They’re meant to be burned down and put together. Batman weaponizes his trauma to make the world better, that’s how he wins.”

The creative risks that came with the Absolute Universe carried plenty of apprehension, but the bold storytelling strokes from some of the most talented named in the industry have paid dividends. And naturally, that’s more than reflected in sales figures. Four of the top 10 best-selling single issues of 2025 were Absolute Universe titles. Funny enough, the #1 spot from 2025  is shared by industry titans Marvel and DC, in the form of crossover comic Deadpool / Batman #1. Into 2026, the continuity has endured further success, launching brand new titles, most recently with Absolute Catwoman #1.

Finally, fans will soon be able to have Absolute figures on their shelves. Figures from McFarlane Toys are on the way later this year, For this news we must credit DC Collectors, whose initial report brought the figures to our attention. The ‘smoking gun’ confirmation that the figures are in development came from Toy Hunters Collective on Instagram:

Listed among the 7-inch Absolute figures are core characters: Absolute Batman, Absolute Superman, Absolute Wonder Woman, & Absolute Deathstroke.

There’s currently no release date for these figures. We estimate they they’ll be revealed in the next couple months with a release later this year. As always, we’ll keep you updates.
