If one series has dominated comic book best-selling lists in recent times, it’s DC’s Absolute Batman. Or better yet, the entire Absolutes line of comics, including Absolute Wonder Woman, Absolute Superman, and so on. You need only look at the 2025 best-seller lists where you’ll find Absolute Batman featuring in the top 3 of every single month. Its success is unprecedented.
In addition, in 2025 Marvel and DC began working together on crossover comics. We saw a Deadpool and Batman mashup rank extremely highly, and as the crossovers continue into 2026 — notably with Spider-Man and Superman — the sales figures continue to soar.
